As part of the “Religious Heritage Days/Journées du patrimoine religieux” weekend, CASE-MCQ and the St. George's Church Foundation present a unique cultural event blending music with fascinating and little-known stories from the Jewish history of Drummondville.

Stories of a Small Shtetl: Local Jewish History in Words & Music

Sunday, September 11th - 1:00 pm & 3:00 pm

St. George's Anglican Church, Drummondville

This event will be a rare opportunity to hear live Klezmer music, featuring local violinists Augustin Deruelle and Bruce Murchison, accompanied by Francine Beaubien on keyboards. Special guest Rabbi Avi Finegold will give a short talk on the history of Jewish people in Québec and CASE-MCQ’s Culture and Heritage Coordinator Julie Miller will share stories about some past events and historical personalities.
